[Only Topic] Forum Issues: Slowdowns, Missing Posts & PM's, etc.

There have been many issues that have been reported on the official French support forum.  To make it more easier to keep track of the issues, I have created this only topic.

Examples of the reported issues:

• Missing posts/topics/private messages
  
• Slowdowns.
  
• Missing chatbox archives/messages/Booting members.
  
• New post icon showing when posted yourself.

These issues are not related to the data center change.  Over the weekend there was an issue with the servers.

All this stuff is going above my head, I will back out of this now and wait and watch what others report and do.

That box is also above my head.  Our board is slow to respond all day today, I've had people complain of posts not going through.

We've all cleared board and computer cookies and it's still not working correctly.

Hoping to have found out what the problem was

Description of Issue: The forum has been slow since yesterday I believe. Some posts appear late, PM's get re-sent, or it's like the forum is being restored to an earlier time whenever it felt like it. I thought someone was hacking my forum but then I found this. It was odd, when I was on the chat box, I got logged out, then when I came back, the messages that we posted just earlier disappeared, the time that was lost was a around 30-40 minutes. But now I think it's back to normal.

Those were my observation so far, I hope these issues get resolved soon enough.

The board is running slow.  Between pages and some posts are not making it the board.  Refresh takes forever too.

Oh and just so you know, this thread also runs slow.  When I hit send....get complete white screen.  Wait and wait and it finally posts.  Same as with my our board.

Problem - Forum slow. Posts being deleted/removed but not by users. Some posts have gone in to the wrong thread before disappearing. Even messages left on log in screen by admins have reverted back to an earlier time.

Description of Issue: Forum is slow at responding. Also, the chatbox is acting all weird. It logs people out at random, and it isn't auto-refreshing for anybody even if the little 'Auto Refresh' box is checked. A member has reported that her posts have been disappearing, though I haven't noticed myself experiencing this issue. I think I've covered everything, but if there's something left out, it's probably been mentioned by someone else here.

Oh, another issue that i noticed involves the new topic/post icons. I thought it was a simple glitch, but maybe its connected. They keep showing me the new post icon even when I was the last person who posted on that thread. That's never happened before. Not for me atleast.

A member in the chatbox reported that her signature was glitched up, but I don't know if that's just her or not.

Description of Issue: Forum slow, double-posting occurs randomly, lost PMs, lost topics and posts. Sudden deletion of a single user. It appears that all things that happened on september 27th, had a chance to disappear or "un-happen" -- even editing existing posts and messages, would suddenly become undone, and the edit would not appear.

Description of Issue: Crazy chat box. Every now and then there are old news, right up to dated again and again on the occasion of the old logging off users, and even in extreme cases Logs out their forum. Man has the impression that travels in time or one of the Time Lord's bored and playing time. Forum is slow at responding

I am on our board a lot and have not seen any notification of maintenance or any maintenance pages.

No Other reports of this is found but we will keep an eye out for it

Description of Issue: People have been getting kicked off of the chatbox at random, the archives are getting mixed with what I think are even older ones,and forum is being slow. One member was apparently banned despite nobody actually banning them as well if this is somehow related.

I'm not the forum creator, but the creator's computer is currently not available for use until a few days later. I'm an admin of this forum and hope this is isn't too much of a bother.

Posts indicate posted by a user, but that user didn't post it

Can someone refer me to information on what backup procedures are in place, or do I need to backup the forum?

washington state USA - ALL forummotion.com websites are slow. the admins page, loading the forum itself, loading the help forum here, sending pvt msgs in forum gets a blank screen and DOESNT send the message, trying to read messages here on help forum etc etc etc anything related directly to forumotion.com is mega slow for me.
