    I have been told that the verification email received when someone registers to our forum reads as follows:

    Welcome to <p align=center><Font color=maroon> MY CO-OP FORUM forums

    How can we change it so it the verification email only reads "Welcome to MY CO-OP FORUM forums"

    Go to Administration Panel => General => Messages and e-mails => Private Messages => Welcome Private Message

    I believe that is the Welcome message. I was referring to the verification email that is sent to someone who registers on my forum. The email that tells them they are now registered and they can now sign in to my forum.

    Mine now says: "Welcome to <p align=center><Font color=maroon> MY CO-OP FORUM forums"

    I want it to just say: "Welcome to MY CO-OP FORUM forums. Please keep this e-mail in your save box. Your account information is as follows" etc....

    My problem is....

    A friend somehow got my Admin password and changed the URL name and the Admin password. In other words my forum is hacked.

    As you can verify it, the original URL was http://samidish.amharicforum.com/ and the original creation email was Email removed

    I got an email message from you the following... Admin (Ip Address: Removed) modified the address of the forum samidish.amharicforum.com The forum is now available on this address : http://jaredboss.amharicforum.com

    Now this guy is asking me money to get back my forum. How can you help me????

    Please I need your help.

    Have you tried using the Founders Tool to change what you need?
