Text Boxes in the wrong colours

Hey all,

I've been looking everywhere, and trying everything I can find to change the colours of some boxes as below.





Ideally they'd be the same green as the board, but everything I try leaves them grey. I've set the colours in the normal admin panel, and none of them are grey, so I'm not sure where to fix it up.

changes to this after an instant when I don't want it to:

the theme is grey and green ... just as in the specifications on hitskin.com
so thats one matter out of the way...
nextly in picture 3 : notice your browser is loading images (see bottom bar of your browser) Its says : (22 items remaining) Downloading pictures ...

in picture 3 the images haven't loaded yet
in picture 4 you have the original and properly loaded forum design

OK...so how do I drop the grey, and how do I get rid of the images for picture 4 to make it look like picture 3?

well you'd need to play with the CSS. I'll try to find the copy of its CSS and try to get you a version without images. I'll try and make it look like in pic 3

here you go ... a low-fi version of portribal

go to admin panel-> styles-> colors -> css tab
select the entire css and delete it. then paste this in its place and save

wait a minute? the message box didn't change??? I thought everything was fine... when I was testing it.
and I made the forum header from green to yelloowish....

could you provide images showcasing the remaining problems... cos I'm quite certain that I changed what you wanted

I'm just trying to work stuff out, and was wondering how I'd change the colour of text in the message body.
