    Solved Timezone has changed automatically

Post by SLinv October 28th 2014, 2:56 am

I noticed that the timezone in my forum had changed automatically for the forum and all its members sometime yesterday. I was wondering if there was any change done in the back-end and how I can reverse this. Since my forum has 350+ members it's tough for admins to do the change for all of them.

    Hello SLinv,

Please see this topic : https://help.forumotion.com/t136371-new-timezone-management#919872

Your members will need to pick the timezone that is closest to their location, from the profile settings.

Thank you for your reply. But I want to know if there was any change recently and if it will happen again (maybe due to daylight?)

I started the forum somewhere in March 2014 and the timezone was set correctly for everyone, including my admin account correctly. But it changed automatically yesterday.

Edit- Sorry I just noticed this was a new thread. I was searching early yesterday and did not find it. I'll ask the members to change the timezones manually and hope it won't happen again.

    Thanks!

It was an update, not a bug.
