If some administrators have lost a lot of servimg pictures thanks for providing the following information:

- Url of your forum
- Link of a broken servimg image

Please note that servimg had some issue few weeks ago. By consequences, it won't be possible to get back pictures.

Since yesterday, more pictures are disappearing from the servimg site.
My forum is http://www.k100-forum.com 

I have 55 pages of pictures, and when I browse servimg, I see a lot of missing images on almost every pages.
It's impossible to go to the 106,000 posts on the forum to find which attached pictures are missing.

Here is an example of what I see on servimg. All the blank squares are missing pics.



Can a backup be restored?

our forum backup will not fix the problem we have to have the links to the items missing to see if we can find the items some other way. as you may or may not know servimg is not a FM product its some thing we host from some one else. we need to ask them for a backup of there items that are missing.

if you have more then you can count then this could be a problem as we need the links to see if we can find the items.

Yes I have more than I can count and this is a real problem 
You can see it in the snapshot of one page that I inserted on my previous post. The reference to the picture is there, but there is no picture. Of the first 10 pages which normally shows 250 pics, 93 are missing (about 37%)
Is that possible to ask them to do a restore of the 'k100beemer at gmail.com' account ?
Even if this is a few weeks old backup, it could save a lot of the post which don't have any value without the pictures.

Every image on my servimg account has disappeared.

Check them please, a lot of missing images on almost every pages. Imma provide my servimg account if you ask for.

Don't expect much. They haven't fixed mine or even talked to me about it, and it has been over a week. I doubt anyone is even looking into it.

Our forum has the same issue,o ur forum buttons have disappeared.  Fortunately I have them backed up and am now re-uploading to my imgur account.  I haven't checked the rest of the forum, but I will report back with servimg links if needed.

These are from tutorials on our site.  I do not have backups for these images.

I have Firefox and everything is there, but most of the members who are on Explorer are missing lots of buttons, main logo. When I open Explorer, I see the same as them, missing buttons. All the links to the images are there but no pictures.

I tried uploading the pictures on Explorer, but still doesn't work

What now??

I have looked over all the codes and have found them to have been removed from the servers just like mine did.

Right now Buttercup our pro admin is not in the office as its the weekend but i will make a full report on this matter.

if you have a backup of your items on your computer i would say to replace then on say photobucket or some other host for now until we get word from Buttercup and servimg them self.

Thanks ape for this notice, so your saying our icons/images should reappear on Monday then?

Can I just add that this issue is quite serious as it affects older images, which in my case and I assume by default for most people, means that it is the very core of the website design that has been destroyed. Practically all my basic icons have disappeared as well as my themed backgrounds etc. I have reloaded a few today from my own backup just so the website resembles something useable but a full reconstruction will take several days, if not weeks in my case.

Thanks for the brilliant Christmas present servimg. That's just what I needed this year!

PS: the issue is not restricted to images in the servimg path i49 as stated above. I am missing images now from i40 and i43 too. I am sure others will identify more paths too that have been arbitrarily deleted with all their content from the servimg site.

Nordman they understand.... but the staff on this support forum are only VOLUNTEERS who have no control over the server. And since all the admins are off for the weekedend, we will just have to wait until tomorrow! It is not that big a deal, I am missing mine too, but my forum can function without them, it may look terrible but at moment it has not stopped my members from posting. So it is fine.

Better tomorrow then never!

I did aim my barb at servimg, brandon_g, not at the Forumotion volunteers!

But here's wishing them a happy Christmas and a healthy and happy new year too, with gratitude for their efforts over the last year (with no thanks to servimg!)

Hello, So may we get our icons back? I do not care if the problem gets fixed or not... I just want my forum icons back. I understand the bug does not depend on you, but our FORUMS do! I just asking for my icons back, I do not have back up copies and they crucial to my forum's layout.
Please may I have topic icons back?

That's good but they are still not showing up on my forum, if you click the link to forum you will see that the icons are not there and I have no new/no posts icons!

I would like them to appear on my forum again!

Did you try to re-upload the images?

? @Buttercup has the tech team looked into getting us a new image host because servimg dont seem to be that great of a host for so many people to keep loosing images all the time

No, and I will not be able too, I do not have back ups of these images unforunately, If you click on the servimg links I provided you'll see that images are not there. they do not show in the ACP ethier, The link's are the still there, but they do not icons do not appear! I can make you a test account with acp privileges if this would help?

@brandon_g when in your ACP click on the following Display tab >>   Pictures and Colors >> Pictures and Colors >> click on advanced mode then in any of the img tabs click See examples on there you will have a page like this if your items are still on the servers you will see them in this part click the green arrows to the left or right to see if you can find them if you can just copy them to your computer or just re-ad them to your forum
