Multiple News Widgets

ok i found this tutorial on avacweb but im having issues with it because its outdated and only half way works

problems im having with it

1. it only works with some forums not all of them

2. if i put multi forums in one widget/or on same page it only displays one of them


what i would really like is basically like the recent topic widget but it also displays the message .. but this is as close as i could get to that

Someone asked for something similar a few weeks ago. I wrote up a small prototype, but it's for use if you're using the forum widgets.

Just to make sure, you tested it, correct ?

The only content that is for phpbb3 is the HTML, so it should load the topics on bb2 :

ok i had to turn on forum widgets for it to work

... is there anyway to get this on the portal page in the middle column


Update Figured it out

placed a widget in middle

and added <div id="mid"></div>

and changed left/right to mid

Oooh good you found the solution ! The "left", "right" keywords are just ids, so you can use a container ID like you did.
