need help with facebook app

this may sound daft but how do you setup the facebook app for the forum.  when we tried it, took us to facebook to create a facebook app but couldn't seem to get it to work.

any help appreciated,

sorry I was meant to say the forum facebook login module for forumotion forums.

I followed instructions on here last night how to setup the facebook login module for forumotion forums and it doesn't work.

when I had a closer look at the graphics on here I then noticed that on facebook they have removed the app for forums and are now only doing the login module for websites.

with this I hope the tech team will look in to why facebook have removed the app for forums, as it stands forums on here cannot use the facebook login module as an alternative to the standard forum login.

have managed to sort this facebook login module out and hopefully fully working.

how I did it is not as shown on the help pages here as facebook have removed the forum app login.

it also seems that each forum member has to associate there forum account with facebook so the login box will work.

would be good to hear from others who have had problems with this and how they resolved it,

you can close this post, if I have any problems then will create a new topic to see what tech team can do,

You have t create an app on Facebook and enter the codes for that app in your administration panel.  New members will not have to associate their accounts, but old members will.

Creating and settling up the app Facebook questions will need to be directed to Facebook.
