Solved Change of forum name

Post by thjen87 January 7th 2015, 10:25 am

Hello Smile

I've recently changed the name of my forum through the admin tool..
But even though the name was changed, it is named the former in my browser window..
And I have tried to reset my browser history..

How long does it take before the name is 100% changed?

Hello

Did you buy a new domain name? Or just change the url of your forum?

Thanks Smile Normally, the name of the forum changes immediately. If not, you should clear your cache and delete cookie. While running your forum, i am able to see "The Cartel" as name Smile

I went to: Administration Panel --> General --> Forum --> Configuration --> Site name

I changed the name of the site from "Mizar Trade Federation" to "The Cartel"..
And yes, the name of the site did change to "The Cartel"..
My problem is, that the browser still recognizes the site by the former name, despite the fact I have reset cache and browse history:
