Gif Photos not working?

A user wanted to use a GIF and I uploaded it for him and it didn't work so he stopped and another member wanted to know why it wasn't working any help?

Hello @Hagoromo Otsutsuki,

When you uploaded the image, did the extension of the file change to jpg ? By extension, I mean the end of the URL. e.g. .gif, .png, .jpg, etc...

Images that are too large will be converted to JPEG.

No I use the link upload version of uploading pictures.

That's just a regular gif file; it's not animated.

It was the only GIF of him laughing like that idk why it wont work on my forum.

That's because the image you posted isn't animated. You're talking about the animation, right ?

It's not animated. I downloaded the image and it only has one frame. It's just a GIF, not an animated GIF. You'll have to find one that's animated. Such as : http://static.giantbomb.com/uploads/original/4/44795/1857507-m_bison_says_yes_o.gif
