    how can i keep people from posting anything but still are able to register on my board please?

    Hello,

    If you would like to stop people from posting on your forum, simply modify the permissions at:

    1. Administration Panel (advanced mode)
    2. General Tab
    3. Categories and forums (on the left, under Forum)
    4. Click on the permissions sign ( Perms ) on a forum
    5. Uncheck 'Reply to a message' and 'Open a topic' for Members

    Repeat for all forums as necessary.
