Problem creating keyword tags...

Hopefully this is the correct section?, I was told to post a thread in support section and this seems to be the support section..

When on my forum I go to create keyword tags , I didnt select username tags as I don't want that option, but I do want keyword tags ...


I get to keyword tag permissions and select groups , I select me & my other admin to be ' allowed' to use this features and save it..nothing happens, as well as use the front & back arrows to try to create some words I would like tagged, but still nothing happens...

When I try to Insert keywords it simply says ' no options'.

Those are the only tools I can see at my dispense , am I doing something wrong?

And is this facility which is know as ' hashtags ' ?

You can create tags also in topics just like this: #example

You do not create tags in the administration panel.

Thanks SL, So I can enter so many words and these words may appear on other forums and tag them to my forum?

Ah I see...it's only for topics and I can only enter one word? I think I'm confusing this with hashtags.

I understand more now..I really wanted beed hashtags but nobody seems to be quite sure as how to as I read a thread by someone else looking to insert hashtags but needs done through CSS.

This is a tag and hashtag:  #example

If I added this tag in my profile, someone posted it, I would get a notifications.  Also if you press it, it will load all posts that contain that tag.
