How to Hide a Category and containing Topics

Description of problem

Hi everyone, I'm mostly making this post so I am able to send PM's but have also been wondering if it was possible.

On our forum there are many administrators and moderators as per agreed upon on the creation. I was wondering, is there a way to create and hide a category and sub-sequential topics from other administrators? And if so would I need to be the forum admin founder or can it be done as a normal administrator.

Hi @Blippero,

If the member has access to the admin panel, then they'll be able to see all forums regardless of the group they belong to.

yea this is true, if you let a member have admin then they will see the forums

Thank you both for your prompt replies I figured that was the case just wanted to be sure. While we are here i did have another query though. Is it possible to add a picture background to the widget columns on your forum home page?
