page won't load message

Hi

I am getting this message when trying to open my site   and i am not sure if this is a temp forumotion issue, or something to do with the site itself.  I have tried two different browsers with same results.    thanks in advance.  


Safari can’t find the server.

Safari can’t open the page “http://spv2.canadian-forum.com/” because Safari can’t find the server “spv2.canadian-forum.com”.

It loads fine for me on a tablet.  Is it still not loading for you?

no, sorry, just tried it again, 3 different browsers and still get the same message.    maybe it is my computer/internet blocking me?  but i did have another user contact me and say it wasn't working for her either.

i was wondering tho if there was a forumotion issue going on, if that is what the link indicates, maybe i just have to wait it out?    if there is something i should be doing, maybe you can let me know what it says?

if i knew what it had been changed to, from the canadian-forum.com  i'd have a place to start.    also maybe there is a cookie thing, i need to clear out.   i have only heard from one person regarding access, so not sure if there are more who cannot access it.

i will try to do that next.   what i also have to do is allow the updates to be done, so i will let that happen, reboot the computer, and start fresh.   will come back and see what happens in an hour or two.

Also it is very helpful to know it is working for you both, a case of it's me not you happening.  i have one other user i just emailed to ask if hers is ok or not.   i have not heard  back from the first person who brought it to my attention.   

it just has a small interest group, small number of users, private forum, so there aren't a lot of people affected, just a bit frustrating that's all.

So have you all tried clearing you cache and cookies yet? Or maybe tried a different pc or restarting it or resseting you internet, I do not know. It appears to be a local issue, so ething on your end.

hi, yes, it seems it was just me, as the other user confirmed it worked for her.   Also, i just attempted it again, and all is fine.   A temporary thing

thanks for everyone's assistance and support.    I think this topic could be closed now, as far as my needs are concerned.     i am not sure if kiara has noticed a change for her two sites, because both of them are now fine for me as well.
