Automatically added as a friend?

Is there a way to set it so people that join certain usergroups automatically add a certain user as a friend upon joining a group? I want to be able to use mass PMs more efficiently by area of the site and I thought this would be a nice work around.

I didn't get exactly what you meant, by I kind of got a glance out of it
You mean you want a person to join a group and then an option appears to add those who are already joined automatically as friends?

If that so, then this is not yet accomplished at Forumotion, but hopefully one day it will be provided.

I think what the op, is asking is for a certian group that user automaticaly has someone as a friend. Kinda like myspace was with TOM. Where every one had him as a friend. You may be able to do something like this with Java script, sadly i know nothing about java. Maybe @Ange Tuteur can help you, he is really great with java.
