1. Disable adblocker and you will see that there is an ad in that blank space..

For #2, im not really sure whats the css id or class of the chat box are and for #4, it can be achieved by using JQuery, and im too lazy to fix it

Can i change +/- button to new icon ??

Go to your Administration Panel > click General tap > go down to Messages and e-mails > click configuration go down the page and you will see Customize a global announcement name : and your new name and save.

Did you click save after writing in the new name for it?
