How to set a USERNAME variable for automatic messages?
I have set automatic welcome message for all users, however I wish to give it a more personal feel and make it say the user's username.
Example
Hello, ForeverPotterlock, welcome to forumotion
instead of...

Also, I made a test account and the message looked like this:

You just have to change the {username} to
That will show the user's username .
Also try using bbcode instead of html, the field may not support it.

Hi, I was under the impression that this message was typed in bbcode. I was using the visual editor and it was forumotion that had automatically converted my message into the coding.
