Adding two elements in Homepage Message Empty Adding two elements in Homepage Message

Post by Alan Barry Fri Jul 31, 2015 1:05 pm

Does anyone know how to add two elements - both centered next to each other - in the Homepage message? i.e. some code.

    Forum url - http://priwy-metin2.forum-board.net

As you can see I have placed an advert there, and now I want to place this image Adding two elements in Homepage Message <a href=Adding two elements in Homepage Message New_lo10 next to it - both centered nicely. Also, I would like the logo to not have any links - if users click it, it will do nothing. How can I do that?

This is what the Homepage message looks like at the moment

    Hello,

For the image, have you tried putting
    Code:
    [center][/center]
in the beginning and end of the image?

Yes, they are then in the middle but one is on top of the other. I would like them to be next to each other

This is a clean version of the code, I have got this now as I have tried many techniques yesterday that failed.

Have you tried getting rid of the slight line break between the 2 scripts? It will look squished, but it may line it up the way you want.

Yes I have. I have messed around with the code since we last spoke. This is the result. [img]Adding two elements in Homepage Message Screen14[/img]

The logo goes over the actual forum as you can see from the picture. Do you know how I could change this? And line them up right next to each other?

I must say, they look a lot more lined up now. Whatever your trying it is working. May you provide us with the revised code now?

    Here you go
    Code:
    <div style="clear: both; text-align: center;" class="separator"><a target="_blank" style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;" rel="nofollow" href="http://www.servimg.com/view/19285113/1" class="postlink"><img src="http://i18.servimg.com/u/f18/19/28/51/13/new_lo10.png" border="0" alt="" /></a><a src="//pagead2.googlesyndication.com/pagead/js/adsbygoogle.js" "="" href="<script async=">

    (adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});
    </script></a>
    </div><a src="//pagead2.googlesyndication.com/pagead/js/adsbygoogle.js" "="" href="<script async="></a>

Try adding it to a table and then adding the 2 items in each box a little like this

Adding two elements in Homepage Message 2zqzp513Adding two elements in Homepage Message 29p28h10
when you are done you will need to remove the boarder this can be done by changing this part of the code
    Code:
    [table border="1"]
    change the 1 to a 0
