Good morning

I'm being denied accessing simple areas even members should be able to see.  For example, Who's On Line, Top Posters, etc. A message pops up telling me "You haven't got the rights to access this page"

Most importantly I can't gain access to the Admin Panel; in fact it has disappeared totally from the bottom of pages.  I've deleted the forum cookies, tried another browser but nothing is working.  Even our post Icons, like Open, Closed, Psp Game aren't there for me to use when I open a new topic

Hello @Jilly,

Until someone sees this try entering the Admin Panel using the FM Toolbar. On the top right corner of the toolbar there is the Welcome Jilly and if you click there a link locating to your Admin Panel should be there.

Just for clarification, you are the forum, using the Founder account when the issues happen?


When attempting to start a new topic, are you trying to post a link of any kind?

I'm assistant manager, not using the founder account, that is working fine. It's only my own Admin Panel and no, not trying to post any links

No settings were changed in the back room apart from a new Moderater added

I'm dealing with this while the owner is on holiday till the weekend

What do you mean it wouldn't let you post the screenshot? How were you trying to do it? Did you try the servimage image uploader and then paste the link it gives you here?

Hilly has admin powers as she is still showing admin in her profile. Her special rank is ok and she is in the correct groups. I am the group owner btw. Nothing has changed for jillys account in the admin panel. I have very little Internet connection at the moment.

No, we have another Admin and the new mod.  Both are experiencing the same thing, though the moderator doesn't have access to the admin panel

Try this:  remove them from the groups and add them back, but do it from the administration panel.

That's my problem, I can't get into the panel as it's no longer showing for me

Yes the skin of the forum, it is also called a theme . Have you changed that recently?

Yes, EmmaSP, the owner changed it on Friday before she went away

It could be that. The new theme could be blocking the admin panel link.


You can still access the admin panel either by direct link or through the toolbar. Have you tried through the toolbar?

I only changed out the tiles and colours.  The theme remained the same.

Tiles? Anyway, it seems to have happened right after the modification to the theme was made.

Emma can you still see the admin panel link?

Lol yes the background graphic in paint shop pro world is called a tile.

I can see the admin panel link and my regular profile isn't the founder account. No idea what's going on and not easy being 300 miles from home

Interesting, if you can see it and Jilly cant, it has to be something on Jilly's end.

It is her and a couple of others. One admin and one super mod. I will try removing them from the groups and re adding them but not until Saturday when we get home.

I think it's the best way Emma, I can live without it till you have time to hopefully sort the problem.  Meanwhile, thankyou for your assistance with this issue Brandon

You just need to add the member you want on "Group Owner"
