The code in other should work then. Where did you install it?


Unless the new chatbox doesnt work with it.

I have tried to install it in  "Javascript codes management" and also in "CSS Stylesheet"...nothing...


EDIT: so far I have managed to change the script to remove the lines "joined" and "logged off"... also automatic log in.



 

@ABC-123 the CSS provided in the topic you linked in your first post should ONLY go in the CSS stylesheet.
( Display > Colors > CSS stylesheet )

I'd recommend placing it at the top of the stylesheet.

I ripped your CSS stylesheet to test on my forum and it appears to be working for me.

Try clearing your browser cache. That's the only thing I can think for it not working.

Well it seems the code itself does work, so that means its either an error with how your installing it or something on your end.

Have you tried also tried clearing the forum cookies?

Tried the cookies too... nothing.

Brandon, what do you mean with "how your installing it"
Copy and paste? That is the way I do it.

Do you think I have to start again? a mean choose a new pattern... redo it all...

I am just saying that the code psychially works and that something either on your end and the way it is being put in are whatever (not sure what) has to be causing it to not work.


I would try uninstalling it, remove all the code from your css, save, turn off your css and then re turn it back and then try reinstalling/adding it again from scratch. Its the onoy thing I can think of as well.

I did what you've suggested, twice... nothing.
deleted cookies, re-cleaned cache... and re-cleaned the Disk also.

Could it be that the skin I have adopted is damaged (somehow) ?

I may have to start again. What a mess!

Maybe try reschronizing the forum? To see if this helps? Sometimes the server forgets to update your settings, doing this should make sure it updates it. If the problem still persists after this, try removing the css, saving, then starting the installation steps over from step 1. It may be possible you missed something during installation, if so, this should fix the issue .
