Anyone else having trouble

Hi

Is anyone else having trouble getting members?

I have advertised on google and still do now and again,when I can afford it. But I notice I get lots of guests,but no one registers.I feel my forum has everything it needs and has all the topics it needs. I have done my best to make it look good.But cant understand why I am not getting the traffic I thought I would.Although it says I have 70 members,Only around 7 actually posts...others who registered and never came back.Others posts once or twice and not seen again.

I amazed at my success of my forum. A few weeks I was almost giving up hope and I decided to redo my forum and its been amazing! I went in today and I found heaps of posts everywhere!

Personally, I have slowed down the pace of submitting posts only because I do not feel that my input is necessary most of the time. Either the situation is one which I am not qualified to give advice for or the situation has already been solved. Post or not, I do check up on these support forums on a regular basis.

Regarding the original topic of this thread, I believe that I have given as much advice that I can. That is, advice short of an aggressive public relations campaign to push rising publicity for his/her forums site. But those measures require investing some money (and not always cheap). I am sure that more pointers and perspectives will trickle in as more fresh eyes read through the threads.

When I was a normal member here, first of all, I obviously spent less time here
But I remember that I would come regularly if it was only just to take a peek at the tutorials, trcks and tips.
Also, at the time, the forum was much smaller. As moderators, there was only Katt and Peter, now we're slightly more

About the 'aggressive public relations campaign to push publicity', at first I also thought they gave out the names of their forums rather often and as soon as they could. I still think it but it doesn't bother me anymore

Who is peter? I see posts by him but he seems to be a guest?

I don't know exactly what happened but things got ugly and on hiw way out, Metal Knight and me came in

I think I won't be administering groups for a while, meaning TPC's going downhill.
I have contacted a few people about joined making a new forum, so in the future we will see.
