    Hi All,

    Ive just set up a forum and and used my own domain name (forum.spotlightyourmp.com)

    Im having trouble changing a users email address.

    I go to administration panel - users & groups - search users - then I select the user I want to change.

    I can put in any other email and click save ok but every time I enter in 'info@spotlightyourmp.com'
    on saving I get the error message not valid email.

    How can this be the email is up and running and usable.

    Is there some strange thing going on that I cant use an email associated with the domain name im using for the site ?

    I believe you can only use emails like Hotmail, Gmail, etc.  I believe emails related to sites are not considered valid.

    On another user I have used another domain I own for the email which is a private domain not a hotmail etc, so im a little confused.

    Hello,

    What was the private email address that worked? Just give the end of it (I.e @emaildomainname.com) not the beginning ( I.e personalizedpart@soandso.com).

    May you also provide a screenshot of the error message you get?

    Hello @HAGster1969

    for security reasons forumotion anti-spam tool does not accept info@DOMAIN email addresses. The problem is not in the domain of your forum but in info@.

    The only solution is to try with another email account :rose:
