Description of problem

When I want to acces my forum I had to log in, althoug I always logged in automaticly it occurs sometimes that the forummotion or actieforum had to log in again for all the members ( I join more of the forums of the host actieforum/ forummotion so this problem is with all the forums I use as member as co admin, as moderator and one as a founder the forum I mentioned)

I try to open it in another browser, no succes other machine no succes window phone same problem also on the android tablet

so I think something is indeed infected the acces button on the servers wich we use.

I empty my cookies
I cleaned with cCleaner and scanned my devices with MBam and it found no bad things what could locally cause a problem.

I also cannot acces my support of actieforum in Dutch it denied my acces of my password

But for this forum I choose a forumotion adres and so I really want the support from here and hopefully to fix it asap because lot's of information me and my collague admin has dropped there, we can now not acces. So I hope this issue is solved quick

I'm really not pleased, because I'm always fighting against malware and adware and see that sort of thing causes lots of troubles on machines who become infected. For me that's no problem because I have the skills to clear it up but the usual user without it will not and I wil not cause troubles for the users of the forum I manage or use.

Hello,

Once or twice a month forumotion does a server-wide cookies drop. This means every user on every forumotion must re login regardless of if they check 'remmeber me' or 'auto login' or not. This is normal and is a security precaution, this can not be prevented by you or your users.

but that is not my issue now i can't loggin


every time hit the acces button it redirect to the adf.ly page

and not to the index of the forum

I know that we have to re loggin once or twice a month

but now I'm out of 4 forums I cannot acces in all of my devices and browsers I tried

that's my issue

the adf.ly page is displayed by forumotion anti-spam tool

In order to solve the problem, you can send these informations to a forumotion manager or administrator:

• The blocking action occurs when
  
• Your status on the forum (founder, admin, moderator, user)
  
• Your username on the forum
  
• Email address of the account
  
• Your IP address

I already give in all my details and I asume those managers also will look in to this and can see my IP also in the posts

Oké I have an update, it seems only a problem connecting in wifi

I managed to connect on my 4g decice ( windows phone nokia 640 ) into the internet browser

Ik could connect the forum

this is weird

I have so ever no issues on other forums using their own server or vps clous servers

for now ik connect via 4g and then to wifi again it stays logged in

but their serious is a problem

The problem sounds to me your IP address has been banned on our servers Buttercup will remove any data she needs to to get you back on our forums.

Tight now she is out of the office and will be back to morrow French time zone

Hope than everything is ok, because I really bothered by it

Did you not say that you was able to log in without using the WiFi?

Yes I managed it for 3 of the 4 forums

but than I had off course another IP

But when I was up to log in the 4th it won't work

but on my 2 notebooks and my android tablet
it was not possible

only I managed on 3g on my tablet to log in to 1

my main forum the one in the first post

But its not easy to use that way I have te copy paste things to other forum and my works is on it
so is the work of my admin for his part of the course we do

But he can still login

so the IP thing seems logic to me

I send an PB to Buttercup with all the details

You all staff and crew understand I really need acces on the forums on my both laptops, it's very important for me

I'm desperate and not amused about it and really how can my IP been banned as Spammer

It could be that Forumotion's spam tool saw some questionable activity on your IP address.

Buttercup will not be back until tomorrow.

No way that so will happened, my visits are mostly forums anti malware related forums like bleepincomputer and it's kind in Dutch

I try to help people with adware/ malware problems not cause them

No body is saying you are a spammer and no body manually entered your name into the system (atleast I dont think so anyway) and the system is probably automated. It works off a set of criteria, if by some conicendce you were to fit under some of the creteria (whether or not your intentions are good or bad) the automated system would probably add you to it. Its a machine, its not very smart, it doesnt know your intentions, it just follows a set creteria.

Just hang tight until tommorow, then I am sure Buttercup will do what she has to help you.

Yes a machine is not smart, if they were they wouldn't let in malware

although I'm not the patient type, I'm relaxed now I know it will be solved and you all
