Yes i have the same question. i created the adsense account but i cant add ads to my forum. is it possible ?

EDIT: Back to the Original Question- I would think that Profiting off of a Free Forum would be Frowned upon if not Against the TOS.

Google Adsense is where they search for keywords in your form for eample forensics and they will place 5 ad's associated to that word and everytime someone click on that you get paid about £1 (50 cents)

I just looked it Up on Google.

It Seems like a Good Service [worth signing up] but I don't know if forumotion will allow you to use it on your forum because it is making money off of a Free forum.

If you want to have adsense in the formotion i read somewhere here that you should have extra points and the only possible way is bying them. In order to put ads by google you should buy 500 points ( 6 euro per 500 points ) to modify your template which allows you to modify it by adding adsense.

I've been wondering the same thing. I bought 500 points but when I go to the points management section there is no modify template area..?? Any ideas ?

Here is what you have to do:

Go to:

Admin Panel>Modules>HTML Pages Management>Create a New Page!

Then Paste your AdSense HTML Code Here and Save it with a Name! (i.e Ads)or what ever u want.

Then Go to:

Admin Panel>Modules>Portal Pages Management>Structure>Create a Custom Block!

Then Paste this:
