Technicians [solved] New question related

How can I make a technicians group on my forum without making the group administrators? Like on These forums, are the technicians administrators or can you set the group so that they can do different things?

Well, they are a group like every other. You can make their members Administrators with admin rights by adding them also to the main admin group, or you make the group have moderation rights by changing the permissions in "Users & Groups / groups / permissions". Smile

Hold on, so the technicians group is like any other user, how do they find out problems then? Confused

Well, you can give them access to the admin panel or not - depends on you, but you have to make them admins for that.

On this forum, are the technicians admins or not? If their not, how do they figure out problems? Confused

The technicians may or may not be admin here. That has nothing to do what you are trying to do.

The way the tech here (when they do anything) is read the topics for help and ask for a link to your forum.

They dont need to be admin anywhere they have access to all of our databases.
