Re: Animated pictures
Your example was made with Cinema 4d which I don't have so I made it with photoshop.
I only made one so you can check it out on your forum to see if you like it or not.
Here's what I came up with...
№ 1 - [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]
Since it is an animated gif, the outer edge is going to look pixelated on your forum since it has a dark background. We can put a solid color background on the icon and you wont have that like this...
№ 2 - [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]
But since your forum has a semi transparent background, the solid color background on the icon will stand out also. We could put a frame around the icon so it won't look so bad, like this...
№ 3 - [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]
Also if it was me, when the icon is full frontal view, I would have it stop for a second or two, like this...
№ 4 - [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]
Another think I like to do is to darken the back side just a tad making the difference between the front and back more obvious like this..
№ 5 - [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]
Let me know if you want me to continue with these and if so what version you would like.

Nice work,
Umm number 5 is okay, with 1 or 2 seconds stoptime. And my forum background is transparent.

If your forum was transparent you wouldn't be able to see it. It has a certain percentage of transparency or "semi transparent"And my forum background is transparent

Re: Animated pictures
If you look in my original post I asked you to check them out on your forum to see if you liked them and that they would look pixelated around the edges.Joost wrote:Okay, umm i see this on my forum, thats not okay.

Re: Animated pictures
That pixelated can not removed from the images?
Otherwise, I would like to have a PSD № 3 with № 5 can that?

Re: Animated pictures
No it can not be removed. That is the anti aliasing of the edges that make it look smooth. A solid border or stroke could be added to the icon itself but it would be not be smooth (anti aliased). Or even the anti alias on the edges could be removed. It would have to be done to every image used to make the animations and it won't look that good in my opinion and also would take many, many hours to do.Joost wrote:That pixelated can not removed from the images?

Did you try out the № 3 icon on your forum to see if you like it for sure? Please do and make sure your happy with the size and color of the frame around the icon. We can make the frame color darker or any other color. I'm only going to redo this one time.
I really wish you would of taken 2 minutes to try out the icon like I asked. I have several hours of work into it already and now it will take me at least another hour to redo all the animations. Animations take tons of work, these required 60 separate images in total, with each animated icon having 20 frames. Not to mention that I had to scale the widths of each one, center them since they weren't symmetrical, darken the reverse sides. So as you can imagine when artists here do animations (and regular graphics too) they don't want to be redoing them over and over. I'm not trying to go on a rant here, I just want everyone that makes these requests to realize how much work goes into this stuff. The artists here don't mind helping people out and doing these requests but we would really appreciate people being more sure of what they want and put a little more effort into their end. *End of Rant*
Check out how № 3 looks on your forum and let me know if you're happy with it or would like any changes to the frame..

Re: Animated pictures
np, I don't mind doing the work but that's why I wrote what I did.. people don't have a clue how much work goes into the graphics that the artists here do.Joost wrote:Sorry for all your work, i have no idea.

Hi,
Number 3 and animation 2, please.
The image looks good and the color is okay.
Thank you for your time and help.
Re: Animated pictures
Sooo.. now you don't want the 2 second pause or the back side to be darker?
№ 3 is the same animation as № 2, the frame is the only difference

The way I made these, the psd won't do you any good. You'd have to rebuild each one and you can't just put another image in it and get a finished animation.
