personal information

I have a little problem with a post I made on a forumotion forum about 6 years ago. I know this was very stupid of me, I was a kid back then. In this post I stated my full name and age. 6 years later, I would really like this info to be removed. I tried deleting it myself by recovering my account ( which I hadn't used for many years). I managed to recover my account, but when I tried editing/deleting the post I made, I wasn't allowed to because the thread had been locked. I've read as much info regarding this problem as I could, and fout that I should contact the site admin. The problem is, I wouldn't know how. This forum is related to a video game I don't play for many years, and the forum has pretty much been abandoned for years. I filled in a litigation form and sent/validated it. It is unclear to me what is done with the litigation form. Will forumotion try and contact the admin? This is what I worry about most, because he will probably never read his inbox anymore.

I also read the FAQ and searched these forums for similar problems. I found one post. Eventually, in this poster's case, the thread/post was eventually removed, but it doesn't appear how this happened.

I hope you understand my worries, and I hope that someone can help me out with this problem.

The best thing would be contact a staff member from the forum. If you only posted your full name and age, what issue are you having? I know that there is more than one SLGray.

Hey man, thanks for your reply. Should I just PM a staff member? And could you help me for example? Cause you're a staff member right?

I just feel uncomfortable with that information being around, as I am moving into a more ''professional'' phase in my life (career/study). I don't like that website popping up when looking for me on the internet. Regardless of the nature of the problem that I have with that info being there, I just don't want it there, and I am unable to take it off myself (because they locked the thread). Could you tell me what a staff/mod can do about it?
