Personal Profile Information does not save updates.

I am trying to update the Personalized profile section field named: Comments.
I created this field a long time ago. We used to be able to post an image URL into that field and hit save.
Now it doesn't save the changes.
I hit save, then go back in, and the image information I pasted is gone. It is not keeping the change.

I can change the image in the AP, but members cannot because they do not have access to the admin panel.
It seems as though permissions to update this field are gone.

You want only the admin to be able to update the field ? Or the members themselves?

Post a screenshot of that filed from your admin panel please

Change "display type to image or picture. Whatever is avaliable.

display type: is not text if you want to add an image should be : image

you must check the first field Type and the Dispay type to be correct
just check the above tutorial

who can modify :
remove the check for the moderators and leave only members
and retry

try to clear your browser cookies and check if your browser is updated

Your image url, does it end with extensions such as .jpg, .jpeg, .png .. or it ends with something else?

what about permissions and groups?

It is html extension. That's not an image.

Paste here your URL of image inside code block. I think you are not inserting an image
