New post icon link

Hello again

Moving the group to Forumotion from elsewhere I'm flooded with tedious questions from our members, but I said I'd ask so unfortunately you fine folks get stuck with them lol

I've searched but haven't found anything on it.

Here is my question.


On our old forum the ''new post icon'' was linked to that new post. clicking it would take the member directly to it so they didn't have to monkey around getting there. (impatient 8/)

So, is there a way to connect them?

Do you have an image set for the following settings ?
Admin Panel > Display > Pics management > Advanced > mini-icons

• Mini post
• Mini post - new
• Last post link
• Last post link - new

Usually if these are set, clicking the image will take you to the most recent post.

I just checked and those are blank so I'm guessing putting the image there, not only in forum icons, will link them?

Yep, copying and pasting any image URL should work.

They're usually small icons like the ones we're using here :
