Yes we have a set limit on Smilies: 255 (Including the 94 smilies by default)
I am really Sorry but we Do not have any other way to add more Smilies
To find out what limits we have for our forum system please read

We do now offer A really Good Plugin that will add a new button with more items from twitter-emoji Smilies
