Promoting a member

Hi, just wanted to know if you could promote a specific member or user to an administrator or moderater. Thx. in advance

To answer your question: What exactly are you asking? Are you asking if you can make someone an admin or moderator in your own forum? Or are you asking if we can promote someone to a staff member here on this forum?

What i actually wanted to know was can I make a member of my own forum into an administrator or give him/her moderation permissions

Yes you can, if you add them to the admin/moderators group. Go to admin panel=>Users & Groups=>Groups=>Group Administration and click on this icon next to the group you want to add members to. Then scroll down the page until you find the "Group Members" section and type the name of the member you want to add and then click the "Add member" button.
