Is this an opacity code?

The first table is a simple table with zero borders and a background image added. I'm a cheater. 
The second image is a table again with images in it and css hover effect is added to it.
The third is a modified version of the latest topics system Forumedic linked to you.

I believe the codes you can add are only limited by your imagination and knowledge.

@Mimóza  I'm still confused on how you did the table though    I've never seen this done before.

It just works for tables with fix sizes. Print screen, draw background, add it to the table.
But I'm sure, there is a way to do it with coding too. I just dunno how, so did it the way I could.
