Re: hide BBcode message
If it is links and/or images, you can set them in the AP > General > Forum > Categories & Forums where guests will see the message that they will have to log in to see the links and/or images.

Re: hide BBcode message
There is not an option to edit the text itself in the administration panel.tinsutu wrote:you meant the "Form permission control" right ? where can I edit that text?SLGray wrote:If it is links and/or images, you can set them in the AP > General > Forum > Categories & Forums where guests will see the message that they will have to log in to see the links and/or images.

Re: hide BBcode message
I see, just tested it, but this is quite inconvinience as it does not give a note for member to know like "please login /register and reply to see the link".brandon_g wrote:Yes the hide tool is the hide bbcode .

Re: hide BBcode message
Yes, unfornatelly for text, there is no way to do this using the default options in the acp (admin panel), so the hide tag is the only method to prevent guesrs from viewing text. The only other thing you can control using the default options, is that you can prevent guests from viewing and reading topics in a particular section, but it will apply to all topics and posts in a section, not just 1 topic or anything like that.
As SLGray said though, you can do something like this for links and images using the default options in the acp, but regular text doesnt apply.
