Can't send group pm

I am wanting to send an pm to a certain group, however when i try to do this i have no option to except remove as seen in image as seen below




if i just hit send pm on the right of the image the next page the drop down box does not work

Does this group have 1,000 or more members?

no it only has 2 but i have sent before not sure why i cant now

Check to see if you checked the correct option to send mass pm's for that group in the administration panel.

AP > Users & Groups > Groups

yes it is checked for admin, i also noticed that the little ? button next to drop box does nothing when i click on that either.

You do not click on the question mark. You hover over it. It will say that there is a limit on sending pm's to groups that have 1,000 ore more members.

Have you tried a different browser?

yes i tried ie, the only thing i can tell is that i have to use the send newsletter in acp then i have the option of who to send to. I would rather send pm. Can you get in my site and try sending to admin ?
