    New members for awhile now have been telling us that usernames that they'd like are sometimes deemed as "taken" in the system, when they're not.

    A member wanted the name "Kylie" because it wasn't actually taken, but a message tells her that the name is indeed taken. We're having to manually change their name.

    Thanks for any help!

    Hello,

    Try seeing if this helps: Go to ACP (admin panel)-->General-->Security-->'Dis allow subscriptions of the most commonly used usernames?' tick this to 'No' and save. This should solve the problem Wink.

    Haha, I'm assuming it worked. I did the steps and it was ticked yes, so that might of been the issue.
