Board Row Edits?

Hello!

I have been a long time Proboards user. I love making my forum skins look nice, but I've got to say, making the switch from Proboards to Forumotion has got me yanking my hair out!

Please excuse me, I know basic CSS and some HTML, but other than that I am clueless with codes. Proboards contains it's board rows in table tags, but it seems you guys use something I am just not familiar with. How would I edit the layout of the board row? Is there a way to make the boards side by side? Refer to the first photo if you're confused by what I mean. That's a skin I made on Proboards, and I'd love to figure out how to duplicate this on Forumotion. The boards don't need to be side by side, but is there at least a way to style the boards in a similar way?

Any help would be greatly appreciated! Even if you just firmly tell me no!
