Using a picture as a BG for table row causing formatting issues.

When the problem appeared : It's always been like that, but I was using solid colors before. I'm trying to use an image now, but the image is broken up for each box.

Description of problem

Hi all,

I'm currently redesigning my forum and have come across some formatting issues. I'm using a picture for the table row, but it's broken up into many sections. I'd like it to be a single picture all the way across and to remove the lines inbetween.
This is the current code for it:

Secondly, it's using the same picture for actual posts as well, which I guess is also table row, which is fine, but the formatting is a problem again. I'd like everything to line up and to remove the lines seperating everything.
