Delete Topic/Thread

Hi All

I have a problem with my members

Since the forummotion.con does not allow user to delete his/her own topic. Every time they need to delete they have to tell me. To make simpler, I ask them change the topic title to "DELETE" so I just come to delete using mod tools

Is it anyway (script) to automatically delete or move to basket, either way without manually delete/move ?????

Yes .. correctly

Hold on yes your members can delete there own posts

you just have to set this on your forums

ACP >> General Tab >>   Forum >> Categories and forums "in Advanced Mode" >>
Permissions tab find the forums you want to change the settings to then click on this icon >> Now you will see this page 

Now save you may have to make a group and hide it called members and set it to 0 posts then all your members will go in that Group then you can make all members have the delete there ow thread..You will have to save this and then move on to the next one until all your forums have this set up thou.

that 's only work when no one reply, after some one replies, the X button disappear, I already have that

You really do not want your members to delete their topics if someone has replied. Only staff members can delete a topic with replies.

I want to allow my members to delete his/her own topic by themselves regardless reply or not

BUT

Forummotion does not allow user to delete his/her self if someone replies that 's why they have to ask me to delete for them

Too many to ask me, that 's why I find the way to do automatically instead of I delete manually

One reason why is that it could be a record of member's behavior, like breaking rules.

they just want to chit chat and delete after that

How about adding the chatbox for that?
