(Only Topic) Forumotion Down

Unable to acess my forum, is it down or something? I saw it had this when I went to my forum " 503 Service Unavailable".

Any ideas what is going on? When I did get into my forum for less than a minute it happened again, but I noticed that guests were able to acess it but not members.

Hope this is fixed soon, there are comments about this on the Facebook page under a post from the 29th.

it's a DNS problem comming from one of our datacenters using OVH servers. OVH is doing a DNS server upgrade that coses this problem. it's not comming from Forumotion at all.

since this morning, it should be ok. please try again if you still have problem you can use Google or OpenDNS DNS to acess to our services utill the resolution of the problem by OVH

I had the same problem. Not only did I have this same problem, I was unable to access the Forumotion Support Forum because I got the same error.

Right now, everything is working and I hope it stays that way.

Mine isnt working either.

all the time down, its the worst service that I already knew, I will change it...oh my God

Service was down, but it seems better now. At least for my forum. Also it is like 4am in EU areas so they might be a little while until it is addressed.

I logged out of mine when I was able to and just decided to message some friends as it's almost 3am in the UK

Some of my members are getting "kicked off" periodically, today. They are from all over the USA, Canada and EU

The staff is aware of these periods of service interruptions, but we have not receive any information about what is causing them.

Our DataCenter decided to do a last minute maintenance last night...

This maintenance last almost 2 hours. They had to reboot the servers which caused the errors on your forums including inaccessibilities. Since the end of the maintenance, everything is back to normal. Currently, everything is ok.

My forum, www.tanoomastreat.com or ttr1.forumotion.net, is down today.

I wonder if anyone can explain why Baldy of the above forum, of which I am on there too. Is not able to get onto the forum, and now not even able to get onto this help forum where he lives in South Africa, yet all members in the UK, as myself, are able to get onto the forum as usual.

Yes, thank you Ape. Just all has been working on the forum for all in the UK, yet Baldy is still not gaining access to the forum, or here. So strange this is happening. Hopefully in due course all will be back to normal for Baldy. When it does either I or Baldy will come in an make a mention of that.

Just to say at last all has settled and Baldy now has gained access to the forum.

There is definitely something still wrong, for example I can access Forumotion forums with my PC, but not with my phone. Gives error (WEBSITE's server DNS address could not be found).

This is a general problem as some members can't get access to some members..

Checked the issue with bunch of proxies, here are the results:

Countries that have (some) problems with connection:
Estonia, Latvia, France, Ukraine, Russia, Sweden, Spain, Germany, Poland, Turkey

Countries that are OK:
United States, United Kingdom, Netherlands, Canada

In fact, I had just received two emails, that 2 members from germany here are not able to log-in.
The complete adress is not found - while other members are able to log in..

It sounds like the issue on their side. If it was on our side, it would be affecting all the members of a forum, not just certain countries.

Clear your browsers and try again

It also happens on English forums and on Greek ones. It's only on certain members.. I can't really understand why and how..

What I mean is that certain countries are not able to access one forum.  I am not talking about certain languages.
