In order to prevent multiple topics on the same problem to be posted, I post this topic where we will try to locate the problem.

The admins have just been told about this. I will thus ask you to make easier the localization of the server which is having problems, by posting in this toppic the address of your forum.

On the other hand a server problem is not solved like this, all I can do is to ask you to be patient.

After the 408 Request Timeout problem, there is now other connection problems. So let's use this topic for that.

If one of your forum is not accessible, we are asking you to post the following informations :

- Your browser (Internet Explorer, Firefox, Netscape)

We have news about those problems. Gizmo came yesterday.

For French people

Désolé pour cette absence prolongée... mais ce n'était même pas des vacances...

Je suis de retour pour faire avancer beaucoup plus rapidement forumactif et je devrais avoir dans les prochaines semaines quelqu'un pour m'épauler.

Il y a eu beaucoup de problèmes ces dernières semaines dont la plupart étaient surtout liés à la connectivité de mon hébergeur. D'autres problèmes par contre comme avant hier m'étaient directement imputés puisque qu'un disque s'est retrouvé saturé.

Il reste encore quelques problèmes de latence aux heures de pointe, mais ils devraient être résolus demain ou après demain avec l'ajout d'un nouveau serveur.

Même si je ne suis pas disponible dans l’entraide (ici ou sur le support fr), je suis toujours présent en backoffice pour au minimum surveiller une éventuelle panne. Forumactif ne peut pas tourner sans personne (il y a toujours un problème à régler ou à améliorer).

For English people, I translated Gizmo's message

Sorry everyone to have been away for so long... but these weren't even holidays...

I'm back to make Editboard advance faster and I will be able to have someone to help me for the next weeks.

There were a lot of problems in the last weeks and most of them were linked to the connectivity of my host. Other problems, on the other hand, like last Thursday, is attributed to me since a disk got saturated.

There is still some latence problems on rush hours, but they will be solved tomorrow or Monday, a new server will be added.

Even if I'm not available on the support (here or on the French one), I'm always present in backoffice to, at least, watch out for possible downtimes. Editbaord can't run without anyone (there is always a problem to solve or to improve).
