I tried to use something called post loop and it tells me to upload the file to my root folder how do i do that?

What do you mean by post loop? You cannot upload files to your forum.

I mean Theres a root folder for the forum where I can do that right?

What I mean is that you have no access to the files of your forum. You can upload, delete or edit them
