In progress Another Post as Guest problem...

Post by DARkTYranno September 2nd 2017, 12:07 pm

    Hello community,

I'm managing several forums for years and still can't figure out how to allow guests to post.
I read a few topics about it but they're all about the basic permission settings and probably a browser not supporting guest posting somehow?
Sometimes I was able to post as a guest, so I thought 'nevermind, it works now'.
It's like it would take an hour before this becomes effective after activating it.
But after some time guests are unable again. Now on all my forums guests can't post anywhere I allowed.
And I didn't change my forums in any way.
All I know are the default permission settings, I activated those to allow everything for guests in selected forums, but it doesn't seem to work.
What other settings could block this ability, or any other event that changes these settings somehow?
It seems so easy but I can't figure it out.
After all these years the Visitor-parts of my forums have been useless, mostly blocked...

It is high time to find out what causes this and how to solve this.
    Any ideas please?
