Word Counter on reply not working

Description of problem

I have followed the Guide to this: https://help.forumotion.com/t131191-add-a-word-counter-to-the-editor

But the counter is not coming up at the bottom of my quick reply, or standard replies.

Javascript is enabled.

Are you sure that you checked in all pages, not in topics?

Yes, @SLGray . and I realized yesterday that none of my javascript codes are working.

Javascript is enabled and I've been through all of the java pages I've created and they're all marked with "In all pages."

The widgets work on javascript, but the code is located in the widget itself; any java script codes that in Modules > Java script, are not working.

Did you modify any of the part that could be modified?

@SLGray No I haven't touched the code, or any other Javascript code for that matter. I don't tamper with the javascript codes as I do not completely understand Javascript.
