Topic missing replies but also information within the post

Description of problem

Hello,

I'm trying to understand if there's a bug going on with a topic of mine or if it's a forumotion issue. I have a set topic that I update for a game we play at our forum. I did an update this morning and all of the text I added is gone. In addition all the replies that were in the thread are missing. Outside of three. The original post, an update I did, and one from a member. If you look at our topic it says there's 20 replies but there's only about 3 or so.

When I click edit post all of the post is there, but, when I hit submit, my screen looks weird for a few minutes before going to the page. Then when I look everything I typed is practically gone. There's only so much of the message.

I'm trying to understand what's going on. I can include a written example of how it SHOULD look if that'll help. Is this a problem with my forum or is this a forumotion bug? Any help would greatly be appreciated.

when you say backup do you mean you used the tools here >> Forum Utilities
If yes what date did you use?

Did you do a back up and make sure you got news the backup was done fully before you closed the page?

if you did a backup and it was after that date that post was made then you could have lost things our team have already fixed.

Did this topic have many replies?  I mean were there over 900 replies at one time.
