Feature question

Hello. Not sure if this is in the correct place or not but I have created a new forum. And, for this one I am wanting to add a new feature that I have never done before. So, I was wondering if it was possible to put a feature on here to where I can add points to the user's point system and I can also take them away, such as if they bought something from the store I am getting ready to add soon.

If this is not possible I have another way to still continue the store without using this point feature.
This is different that reputation I think. I heard a couple people talk about starting a store on their forum where they can add points to the members for them to use in the forum store.
So, long store short, how do I do this?

AP > Modules > Points/Reputation > Point Donation

Okay. Found it. Will I need to make a profile field for this to make it visible for each person on the forum so they can see they point count? Or will it supposedly show up on its own?

It is already created:  AP > Users & Groups > Users > Profile

Okay, I just checked their and I didn't see a field labeled "points".
I even put my username in and gave myself points to test it. i put +200 in the "new value" area. Am I doing something wrong?

Do you have it activated: AP > Modules > Points/Reputation > Points
