Modern BB Header Problem

Hi, sorry to trouble you with this issue, but I can't get rid of this huge black header at the top of my forum (screenshot below):



As you scroll down the screen, the big black box disappears.

Firstly, I want to dramatically reduce the size - it's far too big - it needs to be much shorter, and secondly, I want to get rid of the black colour and replace it the the modern BB blue colour, i.e. the same as the forum header colour.
