import s skin

i download this skin. i put the skin in imports and nothing happens. Why?

Hi, please avoid double posting in the futur, your question will notbe answered...

To use the import option, you must first have an Editboard theme.
To get a theme, either use the export feature on another board or download one somewhere

which is the best editboard themes

Depends on your tastes

Peronnally, I'd advise youmake your themes personnally so as to have a unique one.
Otherwise, you can find some themes in the graphics section here

If the skin is not in .bbtheme format, you will have to install the pictures and colors manually.

To create a .bbtheme file, the skin must have been installed on another board and then, exported by the admin.

But, skin creators rarely use this feature to spread their skins, or they just export the colors, because the file saves the url of the icons and buttons where they are hosted, and many skin creators use their FTP server to test their skins, and they don't want to have their bandwidth drained.

I talk about skin creators' image hosting, not simple admins' image hosting. For example, Larme d'ange, who created various skins for editboards, hosts his pics in his FTP accounts for his tests to take his screenshots to show how the skin looks. I also create skins and I use a photobucket account for my pics.

You can use a FTP account to host your pics (there's a tutorial about it in the FAQ), but you can also use a host like imageshack or photobucket. Personally, I use photobucket.
