The category on my forum is so weird it goes like stairs!!

Can you please tell me how to change this.
My categories go diagonally like stairs, and the writing underneath does the same too.
I would like the writing underneath to be vissible only when i click on the category.
If you d'ont understand the description go on:

The answer to your question is this happens because you have forums within forums within forums, plus you haven't set the index packing so it will end you like this.

Be careful where you attach your forums. Edit them and re-attach to the right places.

Ok,I think I've understood...

Administration Panel => Forum Admin => Management.

Click on "Your horse". You'll see; "Forum Name", "Description", "Attached to" etc...
At attached to, click to have all the names and choose "Your forum". Do the same for "Creating Your horse" and "Ranches and Stables"...

I think you should be able to take it from there
What you have, is eac attached to th precedent, when what you want, is all attached to the right category

I have to choose one.

Attached to is the one it is going to be a level lower.

For example (here)
|-Support forum
|--support forum
|--FAQ
etc

FAQ and support forum are both attached to Support forum

Ok...

I've taken the screens from my test board.
There's as you see a category; "Your first Category".
It has 2 forums: "Your first Forum" and "Non-related Stuff"


If you go into the admin panel > Forum Mangement => Management
you can choose the forum/category you want to edit.

This next screen shows the options that come up when you press in the bow next to "Attached to"



You just choose the Category and it should all be good

The layout i want is a bit like this forum actually.
For example my categorie can be Horses and Ponies.
( which is what i have now so i don't mind)
But underneath there is the title then the text.
I want the text to appear only when i click on the title.
The stair effect is sorted but not the bit on top.
When you have done it you can tell me how to do it because i might want to add things.

I am sorry, but I do not understand what you are asking. Do you want to hide the description on purpose?

If you are trying to hide the description, I am unaware of any other way except to post your description as an announcement in each category. Then lock the announcement so that nobody else is able to post in it.

If another way exists, someone please correct me.

Sorry, maryamimi. Let us try this, shall we? ...

1. Go to your Admin Panel >> Forum Admin >> Management:
   
   
   
2. Enter the "Starting" forum. Move any text that is in the description box to Notepad or MSWord. (It is good to save the text somewhere in case you do not have it memorized.) Empty the box just like this image:
   
   Do the same for the "Your Horse" forum. Of course, save everything.
   
   
3. The forums board should now display the following image:
   
   
   
4. Enter the "Starting" forum and create a .
   
   
5. In the new topic, enter the text that was originally in the "Starting" forum's description box. Post the topic as an "Announcement":
   
   
   
6. Now your description is found inside the forum as an announcement:
   
   Do the same for the "Your Horse" forum.
   

I hope that helps. Someone please correct me if there is another, easier way.

I sound so fussy but the announcement was also found in the thing on the portal where there are loads of messages that move on there own.
I'll probably do that for the horses and ponies
