Domain Expiration Question
If you remember I asked a question about my domain before, but now I am back to ask about it regarding it being expired. I don't have the option to type in fandomtopia.com on the page where you can get a new link and the only option I have is to renew the link I have currently or remove it. I know I had the issue of not being able to contact the person that bought the link, but I am just wondering if there's anything I can do as I really just want this link to be removed.

Re: Domain Expiration Question
It is my forum, but there was a previous founder before. I just want it to be fandomtopia.com, but it feels really unlikely at this point.

Re: Domain Expiration Question
You are being offered a free domain name because of your forum's activity.

Re: Domain Expiration Question
Is that what happens if I press on "renewal?" Because I always think if I click on renewal it goes back to the bearvileboulevard link.SLGray wrote:You are being offered a free domain name because of your forum's activity.
Last time I checked before yesterday it was around 13 or 14 days ago so it probably expired sometime this week.APE wrote:When did you domain run out ?

Re: Domain Expiration Question
The domain was renewal by Forumotion. All you can do now if you want to change it is simply remove the domain but I do not recommend that.. Use this one until it runs out and then think about changing it!

Re: Domain Expiration Question
Although the option to type in fandomtopia.com in the other section or in the domain area isn't an option. The bvb link is already expired so I don't know what to do.

Re: Domain Expiration Question
My issue is that I want to change my url to fandomtopia.com and not have to renew it for the bvb one. I can't type in the new FT one anywhere so I'm pretty much just stuck.

Re: Domain Expiration Question
ok what I can do is ask our head office to remove the domain renewal system on your forum and then you can buy a new domain.

Re: Domain Expiration Question
Hello @Malum the good news is we have removed the other domain address from the system and you can now change your domain address.
Word of warning thou.
When making your domain name make sure you give all the data asked for in the proses if you don't give real info and there is a problem we will not help you and you will have the same problem as you just had.
So the page that asks for your real name and real address and so on has to be filled in 100% right or you will have this same problem later down the line.
kind regards.
APE and the team.
