Before upgrading to the new premium package I have a few questions on monetizing. I've had an adsense account for years which I used for my youtube channel, but want to know if I upgrade to premium will I be able to use that google adsense account to monetize my site?

Hello DesignersSociety
It's exactly why this feature has been released.
You need to pay premium and disable ads for both Members and guests so Forumotion can free the best ads spots.
Then you'll probably need to add your site to your adsense account.
And the best is you wont need to edit any templates or add some javascript.
Once in premium package with ads disabled you will see something like that (sorry for french screen)
Three spots are available :
- Top of page (what you used to see after the navlinks
- Bottom of page
- And even a spot for mobile version.
Just fill them with the codes adsense will provide and you're done.
If the spots do not fit your needs or preferences, you still can create your own spots. But it's a bit more technical than the easy way FM provides now
Maybe elsewhere they offer monetization, but here at forumotion, you get easy monetization
