Is there a problem with password resets?

First with my Admin password on my forum

Now with my first account here in the suport forum

When I use the "forgotton password" option i receive the email to reactivate. BUT the passord supplied is "use the password you used when registering" Which of course I've forgotton! And ruond and round I go!

Yes, there is a current problem with that. I guess it will be fixed soon. In the meanwhile, if you forgot the password as the founder please read this post and submit the following information to either SLGray, APE, Luffy or brandon_g by PM
-URL of your forum
-The email of foundation of your forum

If you are a member of a forum or you have another account that is not the founder one, you will need to either wait until this problem is fixed or contact with an administrator of the forum in order for them to restore your password.

These are the resources we have right now for password recoveries. I'm sorry for the inconvenience. I'm sure the technicians will deal with the problem very soon but in the meanwhile we will have to adapt a little bit.

Has this been fixed or is there an ETA. I am having the same issue with a freshly created Forum ??

There is no fix yet, but if you need a new password for a founder account, feel free to send a PM to a staff member with the URL of the forum and the email address used at its creation.

I've locked myself out of my forum. But every time i go to get a new password the email sends and gives me a link with no now password.

http://alteredmind.forumotion.com I had to go through a recovery on my pc which is making it even harder...

I have a couple users that have been unable to reset passwords in the past couple days. Is this affecting some users as well as some founders?

I have told them to be patient, but have not tried changing their passwords myself.

It is affecting everyone.

i want to change my password for this site but i do not know my current one.. when i click on forgot password i get an email that says:

I see so you're saying on the support forum. As far as I know, the thread that I'd linked to you is a known issue and might also affect the support forum. Hoping it will be fixed soon.

If you message one of the support forum admins (SLGray, Ape, Shadow), then they might be able to help you reset your password here in the mean time.
